Learning calligraphy was really for knowing about the history of their various styles is really exciting. I want to explore more of it.
Even after 10years of rigorous practice my child’s handwriting is a real cause of concern for me.
Can one expect a real oriented approach towards handwriting improvement program.
It is quite understandable that if you have never used or tried
handwriting analysis, otherwise known as graphology, before it may seem more that a little strange that your handwriting can tell your personality.
Everyone’s writing is unique.
You may write in the same “style” as someone else, but you don’t write exactly the same was as anyone else.
Writing is not just about pushing a pen on paper or about good handwriting. It is about communicating clearly and thoughtfully. It is a very complex activity where a child has to put in alot of efforts – mental and physical – to accomplish what sometimes appears to the child to be an unclear objective. Due to this complex set of circumstances, it is challenging to both the child and the parents. At the risk of overusing the term, parents have to take a “holistic” approach to teaching children to write well rather than treat it as just another activity.
Calligraphy is one of the medium to ensure creativity with discipline. Calligraphy is often mistaken as one form of writing style or expression mediums but as a matter of fact it has lot more to offer. It has always been their serving the community with many causes. To ensure good calligraphy we need to be focused and concentrated, one thing which today’s children are missing. We need to plan and proceed for writing, in turn developing the management and decision making skills. Once you have mastered the basics you can do calligraphy with many things which you would commonly be throwing away or be unaware of its use. Learn this art to ensure a better self.
